How to use a Voice
Changer and Soundboard

Get started with the voice changer and soundboard for Valheim following these 4 simple steps:
  1. Download Voicemod and configure it correctly on your PC by selecting your main microphone as the input device in the application.
  2. Make sure that the “Voice Changer” toggle at the bottom of the window is turned on.
  3. Browse the library of soundboards and voice filters and assign your favorites to keybinds if you wish.
  4. Ensure that “Microphone (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device)” is selected in the application you use for voice communication (e.g. Discord).
Your new voice and sound effects should now be coming through your microphone signal. Enjoy!

HOW DO I USE VOICE CHAT WHILE PLAYING VALHEIM?

While Valheim doesn’t support in-game voice chat yet, there are a number of Voicemod-supported applications that you can use to communicate with your friends while playing. Some of the most popular programs for gamers include Discord, TeamSpeak, Skype, and a few others.
To use Voicemod voice modulator while chatting, simply configure these programs by selecting “Microphone (Voicemod Virtual Input Device)” in their respective sound setting menus, and ensure that Voicemod is running in the background. You will then be able to share your enhanced voice and sound effects while chatting to others!
