Whether you are an Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S user, there is always a way to use Voicemod Voice changer on it. Read the instructions below and set up the voice changer and soundboard for Xbox in just a few minutes.

How to get a voice changer on Xbox One using Xbox Console Companion

Can you use Voicemod on Xbox One? Yes, you can! You just need to connect your Xbox One and Xbox Console Companion on Windows 10, as explained below and turn Voicemod app on.

Firstly, you just need to get Voicemod up and running on your PC in the following way:

 

  1. Download Voicemod app on this page, install it correctly on your PC, and open it.
  2. Inside Voicemod, select your microphone headset and speakers. Enable ‘Voice Changer’ and ‘Hear Myself’ at the bottom of the window and browse the voice effects available in the app. You can also use the soundboard inside Voicemod.

Now that you have Voicemod active, you need to connect your Xbox to Xbox Console Companion App to be able to play from your PC. Make sure both devices are connected to the same wifi and follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to Microsoft store website and get the Xbox Console Companion for PC. Open it, go to Connect, and select Xbox One (or My Xbox). Now you can control your Xbox One remotely from your PC app.
  2. In your console go to the ‘Stream’ button to start streaming. Then select the game you want to play and select ‘Play from Console’. Now you will start streaming on your PC.
  3. Inside Xbox Console Companion go to Settings and select (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device (WDM)) as your Default Microphone.

 

Now your new voice should be coming out from your mic. you are ready to use your video game console with Voicemod voice changer on. Enjoy!

Voice Modulator for Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S

If you want to play your Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S on your PC with a voice changer on, you need to know that Xbox Console Companion app only works with Xbox One and the newest versions do not offer any streaming options. So the only way to play on your PC is using the beta app ‘Xbox Game Streaming’. Follow the instructions to connect to it here.

 

  • Once your Xbox is connected to the app, open Voicemod voice changer on your PC and select the voice filter of your choice.
  • Inside the Xbox Game Streaming app, go to Settings and select (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device (WDM)) as your Default Microphone.
  • Now you should be able to use the voice modulator on your Xbox Series X or S.
