It’s been three years since Amazon announced their multi-season television adaption of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. And now, the wait is officially over. On September 1st, season 1, episode 1 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premiered with characters old and new. This adaptation takes place in the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years prior to any of the events that take place in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. And while we’re only a few episodes in at this point, it’s safe to say that the show has met fans’ expectations–which is great, considering that they’ve spent a whopping $450 million to bring it to life.

In this article, we’re going to show you how you can speak with an orc voice to enjoy a more immersive online experience, whether it be for content creation, TTRPG sessions, or just to mess around with your friends on Discord.

First things first: To learn how to do an orc voice, you’ll need to do a bit of voice acting. But don’t panic! It’s not as intimidating as it sounds. Check out these easy tips on how you can throw in a bit of voice acting to get the most out of Voicemod. There are a few different ways you can do an orc voice using Voicemod’s real-time voice changer:
1. Try the Ogre voice filter in the Voicebox. Head into the Voicebox in the app and select the Ogre voice–we know, not an Orc voice, but hey, it’s similar. Make sure you’ve enabled the voice changer and “Hear myself” located at the bottom of the screen so that you can hear and adjust your new voice.
